Shared Ground: An Irish & German Inspired Pottery Workshop

Join Clair from Lough Gur Pottery for a hands-on pottery workshop exploring Irish and German-inspired traditions through clay.

Create your own mug or beer stein from scratch using stoneware clay, by shaping and decorating it with a variety of stamps, textures and patterns.

Once fired and glazed, your finished piece will be a fully functional, dishwasher-safe mug or beer stein for you to enjoy at home.

When: Saturday 21st November | 11am–1pm
Location: Friarsgate Theatre, Kilmallock
Cost: €20 per person – Box Office: 063-98727
*Please note the event will take place in the foyer, booking a seat secures your spot.

This workshop is subsidised through Limerick’s EU Presidency Culture Programme.

No previous pottery experience needed. All materials and tuition provided.

Your finished pieces will be ready to collect on Saturday 5th December at 11am, when they will be displayed so you can see everyone’s finished work and celebrate what you’ve created together.
